These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of My Audio Tools and myaudiotools.com (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
My Audio Tools offers browser-based audio utilities, including editing, conversion, playback, generation, analysis, and related workflows. Features may change, be limited, or be unavailable depending on your browser, device, file format, available memory, network connection, and applicable law.
2. Your Content and Permissions
You retain ownership of the files, recordings, text, and other content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to process that content only as needed to provide the feature you request. You are responsible for ensuring that you have every right, license, consent, and permission necessary to upload, record, import, process, download, and share your content.
Do not use the Service to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights; to process unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content; or to bypass technical restrictions, digital-rights management, access controls, or platform protections.
3. YouTube, TikTok, and Other Third-Party Services
Optional link-import features accept only certain public YouTube and TikTok video URLs. Your use of those features must comply with the relevant platform's terms and all applicable law. You may not use the Service to download or exploit content unless you have permission from the rights holder or another valid legal basis. Third-party services are governed by their own terms, policies, availability, and technical limits.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not interfere with, overload, probe, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Do not submit malware, credentials, private media links, or content that violates applicable law.
- Do not use automated means to access the Service except through interfaces we expressly make available.
- Do not misrepresent the source, ownership, or rights status of content you process.
5. Outputs and No Professional Advice
Tool results are provided for creative and technical assistance. Audio analysis, pitch detection, BPM detection, chord detection, loudness readings, vocal-range results, transcription, and generated outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify results before relying on them for production, medical, legal, safety-critical, or commercial decisions.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service's software, interface, branding, and original content are owned by My Audio Tools or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service. You may use the Service only as permitted by these Terms.
7. Availability and Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that a particular format, device, browser, import source, or result will work at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Audio Tools and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address abuse, or maintain the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and can clear locally stored browser data through your browser settings.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or legal requirements change. The updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
