MyAudioTools is an independently operated collection of focused browser-based utilities for editing, converting, creating, testing, and analyzing audio. The site is operated under the MyAudioTools name for people who need to finish a specific audio task without installing a full desktop editor or creating an account.
What we build
Each page is designed around one concrete job, such as converting an audio format, trimming a recording, checking a microphone, measuring loudness, or changing pitch. A tool page should expose the controls, supported inputs, output choices, and practical limits needed for that job instead of acting as a doorway to another service.
How we test the tools
Before a workflow is treated as ready for search and regular use, we review:
- Whether the advertised input can be opened and the intended output can be downloaded.
- Whether page-specific defaults, controls, limits, previews, and error states match the stated task.
- Whether representative supported formats preserve the expected duration, channels, and playback.
- Whether the workflow remains understandable on current desktop and mobile browsers.
- Whether privacy claims match the network behavior of the implemented workflow.
Browser media support changes over time, so the tool page and its visible result remain the source of truth. When a format, browser feature, or device is not supported, the tool should say so rather than promise an output it cannot produce.
Processing and privacy
Most file-based workflows are designed to process the files you choose locally in your browser. Optional public-link imports use the relevant provider or temporary import service and are clearly separated from local file selection. We do not ask users to create an account for the main tools. Read the complete Privacy Policy for details about local files, temporary imports, browser storage, analytics, and infrastructure logs.
Known limits
Performance depends on the browser, device memory, file duration, codec support, and the complexity of the selected operation. Large files and model-based tools may take longer or work more reliably on a desktop device. MyAudioTools does not provide medical diagnosis, professional mastering certification, or a guarantee that every browser can encode every listed format.
