My Audio Tools provides browser-based tools for editing, converting, analyzing, generating, and playing audio. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use myaudiotools.com, why we handle it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Handle

Files, recordings, and text you choose

Many tools process the audio, video, recordings, text, and settings you select directly in your browser. This includes common editing, conversion, analysis, visualization, tone-generation, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text workflows. We do not intentionally transmit those local inputs to our servers when the tool is designed to run locally.

Some tools keep the files or settings you create in your browser until you remove them or clear browser data. For example, custom Soundboard clips are stored in your browser's IndexedDB storage; text-to-speech and speech-to-text models may be downloaded and cached by your browser after first use.

Public media links you import

If you use a YouTube or TikTok import option, you provide a public media URL to our temporary media-import service. The service retrieves the requested media so it can be returned to your browser for the selected workflow. Import jobs and downloaded media are stored in a temporary server directory and are deleted shortly after the file is delivered, cancelled, or the job expires. Do not submit private links, account credentials, or content you are not allowed to use.

Technical and usage information

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the Service, such as IP address, browser and device information, request time, error details, and security logs. We use this information to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the Service.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure page visits and general tool usage. Google Analytics may store browser cookies and identifiers and process technical and interaction data. We do not send your audio or video files, recordings, or text entered into tools to Google Analytics. You can disable analytics or change your choice from the analytics settings link in the footer.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide the tool, requested import, download, or browser-based processing workflow.
  • Maintain browser preferences and locally saved Soundboard clips when you choose to use those features.
  • Protect the Service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests.

3. When Information Is Shared

We do not sell audio files, recordings, transcripts, or personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us host, secure, or operate the Service, only as needed for those services. When you choose an import option, the relevant third-party platform receives the request required to retrieve the public URL you supplied. Model files and third-party scripts may be fetched from their providers and cached by your browser.

4. Your Choices and Rights

You can remove locally saved Soundboard clips inside the tool, clear browser storage through your browser settings, and avoid using optional media-import features. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email privacy@myaudiotools.com.

5. Data Retention and Security

Local workflow data remains on your device unless you clear it. Temporary social-media import jobs are deleted automatically after delivery, cancellation, or expiry. Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, operations, and legal compliance. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle.

6. International Processing

The Service and its providers may process technical data in countries other than your own. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers and respect mandatory privacy rights that apply to you.

7. Children

My Audio Tools is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by law in your location. Do not submit personal information through the Service if you do not meet the applicable minimum age.

8. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy when the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Questions about this Policy can be sent to privacy@myaudiotools.com.
